My First Blog Post

Hello Friends and Family,

Well it's been a while since I've done the blog thing. I was pretty regular on my Xanga back in the day but I finally gave up the cause. It's been about a year since I quit and now I have decided to give it another go. My main purpose for this blog is just to keep my friends and family posted about what is going on in my life. Living far away from where I grew up has made it difficult to stay in touch with many people, I hope that this will help with that some. Along these same lines I have also started a Google Photos account (it's actually called PicasaWeb) where I will try to keep current photos of what I've been up to. Now for those of you out there who were really hoping that I would use this as a forum to dispense my infinite wisdom about everything: life, love, politics, money, you name it; do not be disheartened! For as always, I will be sure to intermingle the tales of my life with lengthy diatribes on whatever issue has tickled my fancy that week.

I don't think I am going to start a discussion or story today, I just wanted to explain to everyone what this is and why I am doing it. I hope you'll come back soon.
